Driver tg3 problem

Hello,

I've received a new Dell optiplex 745 station. I correctly install a kubuntu 6.10. I try now to backup this station with lrs, but the lrs can't find a suitable driver for eth0. In kubuntu the driver used is tg3, version 3.59.1, with kernel 2.6.17 Lrs loads a tg3 module but perhaps it's an old version which doesn't work.

lrs is a kernel 2.6.15 I also try the vmware image with kernel 2.4.27, but nothing change.

What can I do ?

Hello, Yes, there are some problems with the tg3 driver and the 2.6.15 kernel used in the LRS PXE backup agent. We have a 2.6.18 kernel nearly ready, which should be available shortly. Best Regards,
